By utilizing the most recent eSimulation technology, students are able to evaluate and treat patients in virtual healthcare environments in these courses. By employing an assortment of eLearning resources—including animations, dramatizations, eSimulations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities—this course provides knowledge and skills pertaining to BLS.

After completing the cognitive online component of each course, students will engage in in-person skill practice and assessment under the guidance of an AHA Instructor.

This kind of instruction offers consistency in the training, flexibility for the time of the employer and the student, and adaptability to various learning styles. Applying their knowledge to real-time decision making and skill development, students can work at their own pace.

Additionally, blended learning affirms the importance of experiential psychomotor skill development. Following every simulation, there are prompt debriefings and coaching sessions.
